How we decide what gets published

Data before opinion

Every cost page is built from collected prices, public datasets, and documented rules — not from a writer’s impression of a market. Where we haven’t met our own minimum sample size, we say so and show the broader figure instead. The specifics are in how we collect prices.

Dated, sourced, corrected

Every number carries its collection date and source type. When we find an error, we correct the page and update its verified date. If you spot something wrong, tell us — corrections make the product better.

Advertising disclosure

Exploreist is advertising-supported: some links and optional services are paid placements or referral partnerships. Three rules keep that honest: partners never see or influence our data before publication; paid modules appear after the answer, never gating it; and anything paid is labeled.

Imagery

We don’t use AI-generated photos of real-looking people, and we don’t stage fake “happy senior” stock imagery. Our visuals are charts, tables, maps, and clearly stylized illustration.

AI assistance

We use software — including AI tools — to help assemble pages from our data. The numbers themselves are collected and verified as described in the methodology, and a human is responsible for what gets published.
