There are plenty of things to do in Spokane! You can visit one of our many parks, take a trip down the river, go hiking or skiing in the mountains, check out our museums and art galleries, or enjoy a night out on the town.
There are many great places to stay in Spokane. If you're looking for a hotel, we recommend checking out The Davenport Hotel or The DoubleTree by Hilton. For a more unique experience, try staying at the TheÓdyssey House or The Historic Davenport Bed and Breakfast.
The weather in Spokane is usually pretty mild, so you can visit any time of year. However, if you're looking to enjoy all that our city has to offer, we recommend visiting during the summer or fall.
Absolutely! In addition to our parks and museums, we also have the Riverfront Park Carousel and the Splash Down Waterpark. Your kids will also love taking a ride on the Centennial Trail or exploring one of our many playgrounds.
If you're looking for a great meal, you can't go wrong with The Benchmark or Sushi Maru. For something a little more casual, try Inland Pacific Kitchen or The Boot Hill Saloon & Grill. And no trip to Spokane would be complete without stopping by one of our many coffee shops - we recommend Atticus Coffee & Gifts or Indaba Coffee Roasters.
Spokane has a rich and fascinating history. We recommend starting at the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture or the Jundt Art Museum, both of which have extensive collections of artifacts and artwork from the Spokane area. You can also take a self-guided walking tour of the Browne's Addition National Historic District or explore one of our many historic buildings, like the Davenport Hotel or the Old City Hall.
Spokane is lucky to have so many beautiful parks and outdoor spaces. For a great hiking or biking trail, head to Riverside State Park or Mt. Spokane State Park. If you're looking for a place to cool off on a hot day, try Liberty Lake or Newman Lake. And for some stunning views, drive up to Lookout Pass or hang out at one of our many waterfalls, like Spokane Falls or Palouse Falls.
